Allison Strickler Taxidermist

Wildlife art has always been my passion. I started out on paper and canvas and evolved into recreating the real animal.

I take the time to go in-depth with the amount of detail in each project, whether it’s the turn of the eye with the right slant, the facial details, cupping the wings, the hand painted dots on a rainbow trout or the placement of the rocks on a habitat scene. Each mount is custom, using only fine quality products, a lot of time and endless effort because I only want the best and I won’t settle for anything less. I have always been in charge of any projects from start to finish, all projects stay in shop unless during the tanning process, no second hands, just mine and it’s been that way since we started in 2005.
